Helping her parents move

Continuing the saga of my life, Saturday morning I, along with my dad, went to Mount Juliet to help Erika's parents move. I was up around 6 and out of bed about 6:30. I did not get to sleep as early as I would have liked, but I made it. I was going to make some muffins, but I was out of eggs so no muffins. I went because I wanted to help. I wanted her parents to get to know me. I was going to be cheerful and have a smile on my face as I worked. I love Erika and wanted to do anything I could to make her life easier and this seemed like a perfect way to be around her parents. I worked hard and talked with her dad and he was really nice. That made me feel a lot better. Faith hugged me and Taylor just stood there. I think she was more interested in watching her friend Mike. And Erika's mom. I failed to introduce my dad, so when she asked, I felt really stupid, but she was really nice. I thought I was as well. At least I hope she saw that. I tried. I did not want any hard feeling because I want to be around her family and her for the holidays. I think I made some progress. I think that if they get to know me, they will like me. I do realize that I do not know her parents that well, so I can not judge them.

I'm glad that you helped them out. And I wish I could go to pie night.

I'm very pleased with you (since you won't let me be proud). You are a great person, as well as a gentleman. You've had good examples in your father and grandfather. I'm looking forward to pie night.
