Always late, but worth the wait

So Erika and I loved the cakes that we saw inspired by Lauren's Blog, so we decided to venture and try it ourselves. Erika was hankering for Kit-kats, so we thought we could use them on the outside to make a bucket. But what would we put in our bucket? We went to the grocery store and looked on the candy isle and came up with a brilliant idea. a bucket of worms. Reminiscent of the childhood "dirt cake" my mom used to make as a child. We found some Kroger style Oreo's as well to make the dirt, but they only had double-stuffed so hence all the white. We had lots of fun making it, but i'm not sure how eating it is going to go. maybe we can take it to someone's house who is watching a game.

YAY!!!! It was so much fun! And I love your face in the picture. It's pretty awesome. I'm a little afraid of eating it though...

How fun! It looks pretty good! Cassidy had some dirt cake at the Halloween party at her school. She refused to eat it. I think I might have to make your cake so she can know how yummy dirt cake is.
